Parent Coaching

Because each family is unique, Marla personalizes all her work to meet your family’s individual requirements.

Whether your family consists of two working parents, a stay at home mom or dad, a single parent, a blended family or you are looking to start a family, Marla can help you to define, refine and reinforce your parenting techniques.

Marla’s Parent Coaching encompasses the entire family union. She works with each member of the family and extended family, as needed. Marla will come into your home to evaluate your family’s needs, identify your goals and create a personalized plan of action for your family to follow. Marla monitors your progress and continues to work with your family through visits, phone calls and email sessions so that each member understands how to successfully function within your family's dynamic.

Marla’s philosophy is one of simplicity and practicality.

From newborn to “off to college” Marla designs and plans rooms to meet your children’s needs and respect their personalities at a price that will keep you smiling.

She can also help you pack for camp and college, and mediate between your child’s desires, needs and your budget.

Marla designs private parenting and creativity workshops for your Parents’ Group, Neighborhood Association or other group. Her many workshops include:

Toys from Trash:

Marla specializes in making and teaching "how to make toys from trash." She leads private workshops and public lectures. Also, look for her forthcoming book "From Trash to Toys."

Community Classes:
